Performing Arts
This introductory theatre course allows students to explore different aspects of theatre, both on stage and behind the scenes. The aim of this class is not to train students to become actors or directors but to provide an opportunity for students to be familiar with different elements of theatre through the exploration of their own creativity. Coursework may include mime, storytelling, monologues, improvisation, and theatre games, as well as the performance of short plays. Active participation in the class will encourage students to develop communication and performance skills, self-confidence, and the ability to work well with others.
